Before we get on with the Nursing business, I have to tell you about something of great importance.  If I knew of a completely free gift that could change your life, and I didn't tell you about it. . . well, that would make me a huge jerk, wouldn't it?  So since I do know of just such an offer, let me tell you about it now.

You can begin life new and fresh, without fear, without worry, without shame.  God the Father loves us, loves you, so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for our sins.  And when we accept Jesus as our Lord, we gain so much more than a new outlook on life.  We gain salvation.  We gain victory over oppression and evil.  Put your hand in the hand of the Lord and Savior, Jesus, and become a new creation.

Now, I know that I'm probably not the first person to ever mention these things to you, and I'm certain that I'm not the most fluently gifted.  All I can tell you is what Jesus Christ means to me.

Jesus is my Lord and my Saviour.  Because He suffered for me, because He died for my sin, I am free from death, free from total separation from God the Father.  

We don't have to feel like our sins have been too many and too awful for us to be granted forgiveness.   The Bible says that  ". . .all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) and ". . . There is none righteous, no, not one" (Romans 3:10).  See, even the best human being you know - the most unselfish, caring, loving person you can think of - isn't able to get into heaven by his or her own merit.  There are no works we can do to gain entrance to God's kingdom.  Because of sin, we are doomed to total separation from God.  But Jesus paid our debt, and we have been bought for that precious price!  All you have to do is accept Him.
