I searched the world over . . . .well, I searched for an hour or so on the internet to be honest.  Just a joke.  I try to add new sites to my links page whenever I run across them, but often I forget.  I've found some great sites for you.   Take your time and look around.  If you know of any sites that would be of interest to other nursing students, please email me and I'll get a link on here right away!  Please feel free, as well, to inform me of any dead links so that they might be removed right away.

The Student Nurse Forum: Run by my virtual friend, Stephanie, this site has so much information it just makes me sick! I'm not kidding. Just tons and tons of resources are available & it's definitely worth your time to visit the Student Nurse Forum.

Palm.com: The home site of Palm products. Clicking on software will let you view the many programs they have available, including many medical & health related applications. Some are free, though some are not.

Handspring: Again, it's another product home site and again, there are lots of links to software apps. Most are not free here either.

Epocrates: Awesome & free drug database for your PDA.

Memoware: I think this one is about my favorite. There are just tons of free downloads to be found at this site.

  The Auscultation assistant: Here's a really neat site for examples of heart and breath sounds.  Make sure to check this out!

  The Internet Drug Index

  Medical Mnemonics.Com: I learn a lot of things with the aid of mnemonics, and this site has lots and lots.

  The R.A.L.E. Repository: Another site with plenty of example sounds.  It's extremely helpful.  Sounds can be heard via real player or in wav format.

 The Student Nurse site: This site has care plans, care plans, care plans.

 Drug Calculations For Nurses - Quiz Page : Just what the name says! A very helpful site for reviewing metric conversions and calculations for drugs.

CurtinCalls: A great nurse-run site. Leah Curtin has done a wonderful job. You'll find a great links page on her site with valuable and pertinent URLs.

All Nurses. Com: A nursing discussion site that I love to visit.

Fast Web:  This is a truly helpful site.  You fill out a form with details about yourself, and when scholarships become available that match your information they'll email you.  I've applied for several awards that I might have had no idea about were it not for this service.
